Good Morning,
After a week of thoughts we wanted to take a minute to thank you for sharing your house with us. It was honestly one of the best family vacations we ever had. The house was so perfect we never had to leave.
We ended up with Chef Ken twice during the week. He is quite the character. It allowed us to sit and relax and enjoy a good meal without having to do any work, which is my idea of vacation.

The kids enjoyed the theater room and watching the word cup on the big screen! For me the outside setting made the week. We tubed, knee boarded, water skied, wake boarded, paddle boarded, kayaked and enjoyed the trampoline. We enjoyed the fire pit and appreciate you having more wood delivered. We didn’t use it as much as we thought because we were so tired from all the fun each day.

My parents have never been so engaged in a week of vacation. They aren’t able to get out on the water but enjoyed watching the kids from the boat house bar, docks and under the deck where the breeze blew and kept them out of the sun. We had a table tennis and corn hole tournament that they played in for the first time in their lives. We savor each vacation together as our parents age and if we never have another at least we had this week as our last. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

We have rented houses all over the east coast but this was by far the best. The kitchen was beautiful, well stocked and organized(thanks to all the labels) Having beach towels and linens provided was an extra plus and enabled everyone to travel light. The Harris Teeter on 150 has and express lane system now where you order on line and pick up curb side. That was perfect as we picked up on our way to the house and would reorder in the evening to be ready the next morning.

Thank you for being so easy to work with and helpful. We loved your house and Lake Norman and hope to be back in the future.
